http://vtiger.fosslabs.com/cgi-bin/trac.cgi/ticket/2590

which is very important for me.

As you can see in this ticket every time i press edit it loose all the values in the picklist items.
Is there any way to fix this in 5.0.3 ?

Hello,

All the vtiger soft has a problem with the customer portal. Indeed, when a client insert a new ticket or an answer, the administrator don't receive the response or the demand customer.

I think it's important to resolve this problem on customer portal.

Regards,
Loïc

I see a lot of things working now and definitly feel more and more comfortable with vtiger. The hard work you guys put in there is already "feelable" in a very positive way. You took the right curve. Thumbs up!

Hi DamNick,

We tried to solve the issue posted in http://vtiger.fosslabs.com/cgi-bin/trac.cgi/ticket/2590
but we unable to come up with a permanent solution, as the problem has relation with character encode and decode, which needs a definite solution. We'll do our best to fix this issue in 5.0.3 GA. BTW we welcome any fixes for this from our vtiger users or developers end.

Dear Loic,

when a customer add a ticket from customerportal a mail will be sent to the user whose id is 1 ie., admin user populated during installation. Suppose if customer select a module in customerportal when create a ticket, then that corresponding module owner will get a mail about this ticket creation.
so please check whether the admin id is 1 otherwise please let me know. you can send mail to mickie at vtiger.com

Thanks & Regards

I think that many things that have been fixed by users in forums hasn´t been taken into cosideration, like the justification in totals of the invoices/quotes pdf or the headings in the body of the same modules that are harcoded in several places and identified by users.
My fear is(having implemented those fixes to put vtiger in production) that when the patch for the new version comes out will break everything that has been solved by the community making almost impossible to keep up with the upgrades.
Anyway I still see the potential and effort already shown by the team.
thanks

Fernando, this is precisely the reason why we had been forcing the folks to use the trac as it is easier to find out what we have left out.
It will be very nice if you could list out the fixes that are in the forum but have not been taken into the 5.0.3.

I ask this help as I am running short of hands here.
This is like hanging the first guy who gives a suggestion but please take this in the right spirit of hanging ;-)

Philip, I would prefer if we do not reinvent the wheel. If the fix is available, let us get it in 5.0.3. It will save a lot of pain.
