<description>I see that a majority of users seems to use 5.2.x Versions.

Did anyone get 5.0.x vTiger running under PHP 5.2.x without doing a Errohandler and changing the Date Class?

I really think that you should do a very fast patch to enable us using PHP 5.2.x because it seems we will be waiting for 5.0.3 for another month or more.

Im really interested in using vTiger fpr our company but im concerned when it comes to security issues. PHP was never my first choice because of severe security issues and if the application i use impairs me of upgrading PHP im very concerened.

I know that i can do the several changes myself. There are some good tutorials for doing it. But since it only seems to take like 2 hours (when i done it on our testing system). I wonder why you can just inject a quick patch.

Keep up the good work anyway. I've gone through like 10 CRMs for our Company and especially in B2B concerns. vTiger is a pretty neat product. Even sugarCRM went dead, when i figured you have to pay just to use products in it.

					<description>Hi Lars,

I have realized this fact after our first poll. However it is too late to integrate any additional patches related to PHP 5.2 with v5.0.3, since we are almost ready with our release.

On need basis, we will definitely consider addressing PHP 5.2 related issues immediately after v5.0.3 release. In the meantime, kindly follow the instructions given in Wiki:

http://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/Vtiger_CRM_on_PHP_5.2.x

For any clarifications, please don't hesitate contact me at gopals at vtiger dot com.

Best Regards,
Gopal</description>
