SyncML support for vtiger CRM

Dear community,

i’m proud to announce the general availability of the alpha version of SyncML Support for vtiger CRM.

This code is for testing purpose !

You can download it here : http://www.abonlinesolutions.eu/publications/telechargements.html

(tab : Mobilité).

We have only french doc for now, but installing it is really easy.

Just Copy syncml folder on your root vtiger directory, and be sure your webserver can write on file syncml.log thats all.

We will provide an english en user doc if necessery.

A vtigerforge project will follow in the few next day, for those want to improve/correct… this contribution.

I want to thank the members of “La junior entreprise AE I” for their good job on this code and specially Simon, Sylvain and Nini.

I can’t manage to make it work with Evolution…
I guess it has only been successfully tested with Outlook, as shown in the doc.
Has somebody succeeded in synchronizing something (addressbook for example), with a linux client ?

Just a question: does it also support SyncML for synchronization of appointments (or just contacts?)

I thank you for having written this link here, but I’ve already installed this plug-in.
I can synchronize Evolution and funambol server with it.

Unfortunately, synchronization with vtiger fails. I haven’t got debug traces here, but from what I remember, the problem is related to confusion among attribute names.

do you use the latest version of the plug-in ?

(best place to have answer from the vtiger community).

Unfortunatly i don’t provide any kind of support or service with this plug-in. If you experience some problem with synchro feel free to improve the code (well commented & clean & under the GPL2).
