hopefully i was trying to setup a lead in the 2.0.4 demo:

UTF-8 works fine, good job, AAA!

Have been waiting so long for a functioning version. My dreams finally came true. Bought a commercial version from somebody taking care of his users - open source sucks!

Uuuups did i wrote 2.0.4? Hehe - perhaps because nothing changed since this version? Of course i hopefully (no kiddin) tested 5.0.4 demo…
Never the less - if you can’t work with software its useless - even if it doesn’t cost a dime.

Tried 5.0.4 demo system as I was trying to see if the multicurrency feature properly worked with production of quotes, invoices etc, but found that it was impossible to add a product to a quote as the system said ‘no products relatedd’ despite logging in as admin and being able to see a complete list of available products for sale in the sales module.

what’s going on ? - it seems we might be going backwards !

Hi,

George: We have added the issue to our track, some fix is to be integrated in the product which will be done soon.

Kurt: When adding product to existing quote, we try to list related products. To get all products you have to click ‘Show All Products’, this is a some feature we are trying for now. Please bear with us.

I hope Kurt is pointing out to feature of where each user can have his own currency,
and create quotes/invoice etc with it. We have added a small bug fix to this over vtiger 5.0.3

We are planning to have more support for multicurrency in our future major releases.

I just instaled the 5.0.4 verison and looks good!.

One question, I´m still unable to add incoming emails to trouble tickets… is this a functionality that will be available in future releases? Am I missing something?

Right now the incoming mails cannot be connected to any other modules (including trouble tickets). No such functionality has be added in this release. Please bear with us for such functionalities in our future releases.

Hi,
In my 5.0.4 installation (I donwloaded the exe package) the advanced filter tab (contacts, accounts) is not working (firefox & IE). In the online demo it is. Also the custom field functionality, new reports, etc. are not working.
Will there be a full functional 5.0.4 validation version available for download? Or should this be working and something went wrong during my installation?

I agree, that it needs to be stable, but I would like to know more about the timeline, as I have to line it up with other activities.

I only discoverd this issues in the Windows (I used the exe download link above) installation. I also installed now the 5.0.4 on linux, every works fine there. Hope this helps.

Hi Philip,
There might be an issue with the maximum execution time setting in php.ini.
It takes more time on Windows, but not on Linux. Seems like you have problem with this. Try changing the max execution time. This may help you.

In php.ini, you need to change the value for
max_execution_time.

Thanks for the advise. But there seems something to be wrong with my installation in generell. I installed the 5.0.4 after uninstalling the 5.0.3 I tested before. Now I tried to reinstall the 5.0.3 and it is also not working. Looks like I have to setup my Windows from scratch. The 5.0.4 is working fine on my Linux-System.

Tested the Pruchase Order screen.
The following Bug still there.

1. Create PO + Save
2. change the status from approved to Received Shipping
Direct on the screen, NOT via edit option.
3. Products are not added.
4. Changed back the PO to Approved
5. Open PO in Edit mode
6. Changed Status from approved to Received Shipping
7. Product are added.
8. Changed back to approved
9. Check product, the qty is still included the Puchchased QTY
10 Changed back to Received Shipping
11 Checked product, the qty is added again with the qty of the PO.

Used PO 349
