<description>Make sure IMAP is enabled for your Gmail Account to be used as incoming mail server.

1. Login to your Gmail Account

2. Settings &gt; Forwarding and POP/IMAP &gt; Enable IMAP</description>

<description>If you try to set up the webmail and you have selected SSL and you forgot to open port 993 on your router vtiger will hangup period. No error message given, no timeout, nothing. You can not do anything. The only way back is to shut down the webserver and start vtiger back. I think that is a bug. I mean even if you didn't have the port open, vtiger shouldn't just stop working completely.

Someone please test that let us know if they see the same problem or did I miss something.

Thanks

					<description>Hi!

This is useful. Thnx!
Though, I have a problem with the mails. VTiger only shows a few words of every e-mails. It cuts down the mails, I don't know why, I have searched to find a solution for this problem. Maybe you guys can help me.

It happens not only with the gmail letters, but any other letters too. If I click on the full mail button, the same happens, I can't see the whole text. Please help!

					<description>Hi Artsan,

&lt;blockquote&gt;How about Gmail limitations on the emails? Do they limit number of emails sent out per hour/day?&lt;/blockquote&gt;

There are some limitations when using Gmail Outgoing server, for more details look at the discussions on the following links:

					<description>Hi AL,

When vtiger fails to connect to mail server, after several attempts you should return back to Webmail main page which request you to check the server details and configured.

Would be nice if you can report the issue on http://trac.vtiger.com with description on how to reproduce the issue and a screenshot of vtiger.

This can help us going forward.

Prasad

The function is working correctly.
But my gmail account in 7000 MB and had almost exceeded the limit of my hosting.

Where delete the thousands of emails? In the database or in a file?
