   Thank you very much Vtiger Team !!!

   I’ve just read the documentation.
   I also had a quick look at the files.

   It seems that we finaly have what we are expecting for such a long time : we can install a new custom module without touching any file of the core of Vtiger.

   Thanks again and congratulations !

   The only thing missing now would be a nice gui in the Settings Panel to easily upload, install (and maybe uninstall) the new modules.

   We’re just starting out, got the crm up and running easily just last week. We’re not using it that much right now, but plan to check this code out so I can be sure to be familiar with the code in case we need to make changes!

   i’d like to know when a plugin for firefox 3 will be available, i ve tryed to modify the current one for install it. install work fine but it seems that the connection feature is disable until you’ll have register the plugin on firefox web site …

   please inform me

   Hi homer8173,

   Firefox 3 has discontinued SOAP plugin and hence vtiger firefox toolbar functionality has broken down.

   We are working to re-write the plugin and will get it back soon.

   First let me say thank you for creating this.

   I’ve been trying to use this for a few days there seems to be a lot of path issues. Not to mention everything is hard coded. My initial intention was to re-write it so that you could add a few parameters and it would create the module without having to hand code the main form each time.

   However I have yet to get it working, the menu items don’t seem to create correctly and show as invisible, i checked and rechecked the language file and I think I have the correct settings. Often it’ll break the entire system and error out on module cant be found regardless if its a module including those that were installed by default.

   A little more documentation might go a long ways with this particular mod.
