    hi

    Could you tell me:
    - Where can i put file: manifest.xml?
    - in templates folder of vTigerCRM - it has file ListView.tpl already. Do I need to overwrite it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi yukos,

vtwitter can be installed using Module Manager.

Module Manager for vtiger CRM 5.0.4 is is provided by vtlib (under development), look at latest post: http://www.vtiger.com/blogs/2008/11/26/vtlib-20-released/

I have updated the documentation of vtwitter now to capture details of installation using Module Manager. Please have a look it and share your feedback

After reviewing vtiger for our use, the Lead through Invoicing appears to be fine for our needs. But, the Help Desk functionality is very weak. Why don’t you stop spinning your wheels and just create a plug-in to Trac? They are all over your website and apparently the vtiger project uses Trac. It is a great product and being able to just plug-in vtiger to Trac would meed all our needs and eliminate the need to patch-work things like back in the 70’s. Just focus on what you are great at - the Lead through Invoice side of the CRM coin. Avoid spreading the project too thin and create a clean link to another quality solution. This project seems to need focus. The team is great and responsive.

Prasad i’ve been amazed by the great work that you guys are putting in this. kudos for that!

i was discussing with my team about reporting our advance on projects and task at hands in vtiger. In fact we use it a lot for that, but we were wondering how about some microblogging to update our tasks in a more dynamically way.

looked in here and found it!

BUT, we would like to use the identi.ca backend (http://ostatic.com/laconica for this purpose so we can have the microblogging system inhouse, so the question is, how hard would it be to make something similar to this module but with laconica?

also we would like to update via microbloging some tasks and tickets, this would be feasible?

    thanks in advance!!

    Hi Andres,

I’m sure about the possibility of integration if third-party application has webservice API to push or pull data.

Update us if you gather some inputs or make any progress.
