vtmessages - vtiger CRM Messages Module

vtmessages is an add-on module for vtiger CRM 5.0.4 which provides basic messaging (communication) among vtiger users, including email support.
It helps keep track of message threads for groups of users within vtiger CRM, and can be used for message-based tracking of CRM user activities.
The screenshot below (click for enlarged view) captures the basic features of vtmessages:

very nice extension! We use a simelar system internally for communications between developer and service. Now it becomes possible that we move from our internal solution to vtiger. The only thing what is missing is the possibility for linkage to existing trouble tickets. But as I understand vtlib such a extension of this package should be possible.

it seems very good module , does it works in Linux(ubuntu). How to enable it in linux ?
