The May 2012 vtiger CRM On Demand update introduces the following new features:

Add related module field variables to email templates
A new selection box in the email template creator enables you to include data from related module fields. ( video )

New “forecast amount” field
The new “Forecast Amount” field in the opportunities module forecasts the closing value of the opportunity based on the estimated dollar value and probability of closing. ( video )

A new tool has been made available which converts an Excel file to a CSV file. This tool is easy to use, considers the CSV format as required by the CRM, removes leading or trailing space characters and generates an UTF8 character format if desired.

We are glad to release 5.4 RC version of vtiger CRM open source product today. This version includes many usability improvements,  features enhancements, and 100+ bug fixes. These changes have been previously deployed to our On Demand customers in the past 6 months.
