If growth = good, then this summer has been nothing short of spectacular for us (and by association, for all of you! We’ll get to that in a second). July brought with it our expansion to the first floor of our office building, meaning that we now occupy all three floors. We’ve added a new main conference room, a new bean-bag casual workspace, a few smaller offices, and tons more collaborative workspaces (which, couldn’t have come sooner – we hired 14 new employees in just the last two months!). Occupying the entire building has given us the lateral to execute on our vision to transform our office into a more collaborative environment, meaning that we’re getting more done, with more input, better and faster than ever before. Summer has been good to us, and now we’re ready to pay it forward.<\/p>\n

The New Vtiger 6.1.0 Home Page<\/p>\n

Yesterday through our developer mailing list we announced the release of Vtiger 6.1.0 EA. The release includes some major changes from the UI to code support and far beyond. We’ve enhanced existing features, added new ones, and have integrated a new secure app marketplace from which CRM admins can browse through, pay for, download, and directly install extensions that developers have built and listed on the extension store. This means that developers will have ready-access to a massive open source CRM market – and that’s just the beginning. We’ll go over each of the major changes in greater detail once the GA is ready, but for now, here’s a peek at what’s to come:<\/p>\n

We have also closed over 100 bugs<\/a> reported on trac.vtiger.com<\/a><\/p>\n

We invite everyone to test the 6.1.0 EA release by downloading it here<\/a> (FOR TESTING ONLY<\/strong>). Please report any bugs on trac.vtiger.com<\/a> (and set the target version to “6.1.0 ea”).<\/p>\n

A patch to migrate from earlier versions of Vtiger will also be made available when we release the 6.1.0 GA.<\/p>\n
