It is Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the top again. From data analytics to AI assistants to using AI to enhance customer experience, AI is being adopted into CRMs in a big way.

Voice-based UI in CRMs. Many of us are used to calling Siri, Alexa, or Google for help - from playing a song to telling us about the specifications of the latest gadgets. The same technology is now being adopted in CRMs to help with Sales and Service tasks. Statista estimates that 8.4 billion devices with digital voice assistants will be on the market (through CRM systems) by 2024.

Social CRM. Yes, more and more CRMs will allow you to integrate your Social Media accounts like Facebook and Instagram. This will help you manage and interact with your customers directly from a single platform. Imagine how easy it will be to obtain market insights, measure brand reputation, discover shifting trends, and, more importantly - connect directly with your customers!

Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) - an integral part of CRMs. CDPs will become the core of CRMs. They will integrate customer data across modules, touchpoints, teams, and channels. This will help businesses in generating reliable analytics and insights. Imagine the control you will have over forecasts, productivity, and growth!

Custom CRMs. A CRM should be like a good buffet - with something for everyone. CRMs in 2023 will be customizable depending on the industry and the size of the business, where you will be able to pick and choose the features you want in your CRM.
