We are trying to make the installer more user-friendly and have a lot more data in it as the uninstall feedbacks are saying that they have no clue as to what is happening when the product installs. Moreover, they would like to have links to the docs too from the installer.
Other than that, we have had issues in uninstalling and installing, so we are working on that end too. We are working on providing the tools for adding modules in this release. Hopefully, we will have an early version out to certain specific users so that we can get their feedbacks. Once we perfect the tool, we will have it go with the 5.0.2 release.
Philip is working hard to ensure that we do not make the same mistakes that happened in the 5.0.1 release. He is ultra-busy now.
Jeri and Don are keeping the tool construction part running. It has been a tight schedule for them as well. There will be certain UI and Usability enhancements as posted by Radiant. I am sure he has much more up his sleeve than what he has stated in his blog. Radiant is actually far, far better than what he has shown us till now. Hopefully, once he gets his car, he will ratchet up the speed ;-)!
The team is expanding with some new comers joining the list. There is so much work to do that we are expanding slowly. I am getting more and more conscious of who we hire as we are reaching a critical stage in our life. One wrong hire with too long a gestation time will be fatal. So all the newcomers are being hired with care. Those not matching up will be re-assigned.
