Last Sunday we released Vtiger’s MailChimp connector. Which lets Vtiger users synchronize their lists of campaign contacts with a list in MailChimp.
MailChimp, a popular email campaign sending tool, lets users design and send beautiful email campaigns to a list of contacts. Users start by defining a list, then selecting a template from a broad library of templates and making it their own using MailChimp’s easy-to-use email designer. After sending the campaign, users can review campaign engagement analytics. MailChimp also includes A/B testing and extensive research and best practices to help users succeed with email. MailChimp’s free plan allows users to send email to up to 2,000 contacts per month. To send email to more recipients calls for signing up for one of MailChimp’s paid plans.
Vtiger’s new MailChimp integration lets Vtiger users select a campaign in Vtiger, a list in MailChimp, and then synchronize all associated contacts from Vtiger to MailChimp, MailChimp to Vtiger, or in both directions. This means that if you capture new contacts in MailChimp, then you can automatically synchronize them over to Vtiger to expose them to your Vtiger users. Alternately, if you have keep all of your contacts in Vtiger and want to send an email to just a segment of them, you can create a campaign that contains just a segmented subset of your contacts, then synchronize that list over to list in MailChimp to build and launch a targeted campaign.
Here’s a summary list of what’s possible with Vtiger
- Synchronize Vtiger campaign lists and contacts across to MailChimp for sending targeted email campaigns
- Easily create pre-designed and customizable templates
- A/B test email marketing campaigns to maximize views and conversions
- Create advanced autoresponders to increase professionalism and reduce manual work
- Create custom language translations to reach an international audience
- Send over 2,000 targeted emails per day
- Access advanced email analytics
- And more! See the rest of MailChimp’s email marketing features here!
Email Marketing is the perfect choice by MailChimp!
G’day!
Thanks for your wonderful post.
I have 2questions:
1. Where we can download
Mail_Chimp_integration_with_vtiger?
2. With 2,000 targeted emails sending perday or more, What happend with the IP?
Google or other ISP will treat it as spam/junk mail and block your email sending?
Thanks
Dzung
Hi Dzung,
Please find my reply below
1> The Mailchimp integration with vtiger is only available on vtiger CRM OnDemand service. If you are already using vtiger CRM On Demand Service please refer to this video tutorials

This integration will be released for Opensource version in next release.
2> If you are using the the default outgoing server settings it will not be blocked, if you are using your own mail server in out going server then google might block emails sending. This all depends on the limitations placed by the mail servers on number of emails to be sent.
Thank You.
Perfect. This is what we need.
We have just one question.
There will be available in open source version? We using 5.4.0 and we cant find the module. But in the free trial, we found it.
We tried to use target integrations mailchimp addon, but in 5.4 there was a bug, with related campaigns. But this extension looks like flawless.
So there is a way, to use it in open source version, download it from anywhere, or it will be included in the next version?
Thanks:
Vitalit
Hi Vitalit,
We have released the mailchimp integration only for OnDemand service as of now. We will release this along with the next opensource version of vtiger CRM. You can expect this in next 5-6 Months time frame.
Thank You.
hi i need to install mailchimp how to install mailchimp in vtigercrm
Hi Saikiran,
This video should cover your MailChimp question:
[link removed]
hi,
I’m currently using mailchimp for my marketing mails, but i am wondering if i need to use the integration at all?
I think i can achieve everything from inside vtiger!
is it possible for me inside vtiger to prompt a user to make a change to their own records, meaning – to tick interest in a specific tickbox for a product, that will start a workflow email series of drip mails? if i can do that i don’t really think i need mailchimp anymore. also, can a client book a call / meeting with any of my consultants (like the one appointed to them or the default face-meeting one)
both of those functions would be amazing add-ons for me, because i’m trying to rush through new leads into the copportunities phase as soon as i can, and for that i need to combine the drip-mails with the client’s ability to give me feedback and edit components of their own profile inside the CRM. (like adding their own birthday, even after the initial sign-up)
