Use the Module Manager tool to directly install the extension from the downloaded file, for all extensions that support Module Manager. For vtiger CRM 5.0.4, the Module Manager is not included in the base installation and you need to download and install the vtlib Extension first.
vtiger_forms is a Drupal module that provides the ability to capture visitor details with a basic form and
integrates with Webforms module of vtiger CRM.
This was a fast install and it worked right away. I had previously setup webforms in vtiger, so I knew webforms was configured correctly before I installed this module on my test drupal site.
Only three fields? Name, company and email? Also, the "Name" field is for last name, but it only says "name", so if you type in "John Smith" The lead comes in as last name "John Smith" with no first name. -1
Can we add custom, or even the first name fields? What advantage does this plug-in have over just writing a custom form? I have my customized lead form working on my drupal server just fine, the "old fashion" way.
