GB Advisors is a fast-growing B2B IT services and software reseller for organizations across more than 30 countries, with a focus on Latin America, the USA, and Canada. Their products range from traditional IT services, to IT asset management, compliance management and security.
In 2011, GB Advisors used Excel to store and internally disseminate information about its sales lead and contacts. That year, significant growth led to an expansion of the company’s sales team, resulting in an increasingly complex sales process, and the need to capture, organize, and disseminate more lead and sales data. With Excel unable to do this job, GB Advisors sought a dedicated CRM solution. After a brief stint with SugarCRM’s on premise solution, which was deemed to be too expensive for the organization to manage, GB Advisors sought out something that could manage marketing, sales, and support, more cost effectively than other cloud solutions.
Later in 2011, GB Advisors selected Vtiger’s Ultimate Edition (previously just called Vtiger CRM) as its CRM of choice.
Today GB Advisors has completely customized its Vtiger experience, using approximately 60% of Vtiger’s 165 listed features and functionality, and employing more than 30 custom fields to track new data around its customers and business process. It has extensively automated business rules and processes with over 50 workflows, and keeps track of close to 100 separate reports on business performance, some of which it shares with partners. Additional features that it uses include email marketing campaigns, and autoresponders.
