AI Agent Overview

Each AI Agent is configured with one or more Topics that help guide the agent on its capabilities and provide information about its domain. To respond to a query, the AI Agent uses an LLM to interpret the natural language query and then uses the domain information in the topics, to autonomously determine the sequence of actions to be performed.

Automatic generation of Agent Topics and Actions

Vtiger’s Agent Builder (part of Calculus AI) makes it easy for administrators to create agents. Agent Builder is trained on your Vtiger modules, APIs, Prompts, existing Topics, and Actions. This comprehensive training methodology helps AI Agents prioritize the tasks needed and offer quick and relevant information.

An administrator needs to describe (in English) the purpose of the agent, the names of topics it should know, and actions it should be able to perform.
